Therapist
(She/her/hers)
As a therapist, I support clients through life’s twists and turns, helping them navigate challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress. With an individualized, client-centered approach, I empower clients to use their strengths, values, and interests to find clarity and live a more balanced, meaningful life. Drawing from my own personal growth journey and years of experience in various mental health settings, I help individuals develop strategies to manage symptoms and foster positive change. My therapeutic style includes approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and humor, creating a warm and engaging environment for healing. I have worked with people across a wide range of ages (from 10 to 70+) and backgrounds, including those in military, first responder, LGBTQ+, and career transition communities.
In my career and personal experiences, I have learned the value of continued growth and learning, and in finding a better version of yourself. Spending time in nature, being with my dog, and listening to music are my own go-to methods for finding a better energy and sense of peace.

Some things you may hear me say in session…
I am straightforward, interactive, and often rely on humor in my sessions. Also, I often talk about making a choice between two less than ideal options to find the outcome you want the most.
Some things I love to recommend…
Getting out of your house and head and into the community! Volunteering, exercising, being in nature, joining groups or clubs, taking a class, engaging in a hobby, calling the supportive friend who reminds you of who you really are, using the resources available in your area, visiting points of interest, baking/cooking, and seeing live music.
Quotes I love that says something about my work…

“Positive thinking is the notion that if you think good thoughts, things will work out well. Optimism is the feeling of things will be well and be hopeful.” M Seligman
“The only normal people are the ones you don’t know very well.” A. Adler
“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” W. Dyer
